Setting Goals and Objectives – Day 3 – Aligning Yourself with You
Posted on 06. Jan, 2010 by Samantha Gardner in Life Management, Time Management
In Days 1 and 2 of Setting Goals and Objectives, we looked at where you are starting from, where you want to go and what do YOU want to work on. Today is a bit different.
On Day 3, take just 10 minutes (or less) and write down what you stand for – your values, your personal conduct rules and/or what you love or makes you happy.
Why is this part of setting goals and objectives?
When making decisions and setting goals, you will need to be able to weight them against something. Most of you have crazy complex and busy lives, know what at the core makes you – you will allow you to more easily and quick make a decision or lay out your personal outcomes.
Knowing your values and what makes you happy, also will allow you to focus more time on those activities that will get you provide the most joy in your life.
Still confused, Day 4 will show you a bit more tomorrow.
